Meet Geoff

Hi! I've always been adventurous, seeking what out the rare and deep. This passion pulled from Perth, Australia at the age of 20 and to date have spent almost 4 decades exploring five continents immersing myself in culture and nature. Basing myself in Japan since 1989 I spent 2 years practicing Zen with a hidden master in a small temple near one of Miyazakis idyllic beaches. This experience opened my eyes to the heart of how Japans art and culture embodies harmony with its sublime nature, dramatically changing seasons and often destructive forces of nature.

When you join me, I hope to give you the simple foundations of this Zen mind and act as a temple gong, inviting ever so often to sit in silence, beneath a towering Red Pine, the peak of a volcano, beside a crystalline volcanic lake or pristine mountain stream.
