Nights 1 and 2 - Shiratori Shita Yu - Forest Cabins
Set around 1000m up the sacred volcanic Kirishima range in pristine virgin forest. Simple, clean, Japanese style tatami and futon with private shower and access to world class hotspring and sauna. All wood buildings which blend in with the forest likely ablaze with autumn colors, alive with the song of birds and bathed in pure mountain air.




Nights 3 and 4 - Konpeki Minshuku - Seaside Retreat
Set right on a secluded white sand beach overlooking a clear and tranquil Pacific Ocean bay this Japanese style inn is a lovely retreat after the excitement of the Fisherman festival, cruise adventure and coastal hikes




Nights 5 and 6 - Tsurigane - Deer River Gorge Natural Wonderland
Set deep in some of the most dramatic, astoundingly pure and beautiful enviroments you can imagine. Huge granite rock faces, ancient forest in all its splendor and the most crystalline rivers you could hope for this refurbished junior high school is far, far away from the outside world. Its recently been granted Unesco Geo Park status yet is still undiscovered by by both Japanese and foreign tourists.. A haven for rock climbers, mountaineers and canyoneering enthusiasts.
